One of the most exciting parts of award shows used to be the shock factor of what a celebrity was going to do or say.

One of the biggest celebrities to look out for was always Miley Cyrus, especially during her ‘wild child’ era.
But now it seems to have gotten her kicked off the invite list to these award shows.
The 27-year-old singer took to social media earlier this week to share a throwback video of herself accepting an awarding, captioning it, “& we wonder why I’m not invited to award shows anymore ….”
The video was from when Miley accepted the award for Best Video for Wrecking Ball at the EMAs in Amsterdam… lighting up a joint on stage.
When she opened the Chanel bag, she said, “You know I couldn’t fit this award in my bag but I did find this [her joint], so thank you guys very much.'”
Thankfully, friends and fans on her Instagram post were quick to support the former Disney star.
“I’d have you at mine if I had one,” Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna wrote.
Vanessa Hudgens commented, “What a baller.”
In the same year of the 2013 EMAs, Miley had her infamous performance with Robin Thicke at the MTV VMAs, twerking on him as he performed the highly controversial song, ‘Blurred Lines’.
Hilariously, Miley’s first big snub from an award show invite was the 2020 Grammy awards where her father Billy Ray Cyrus won two Grammys! He attended the show alongside Miley’s sister Noah Cyrus.
We never thought we’d imagine a world where Billy and Noah were invited to the Grammys over THE Miley Cyrus, but, stranger things have happened/
