In devastating news just in, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have called it quits, less than eight months after exchanging vows at their Nashville home in December 2018.
A representative for the “Mother’s Daughter” songstress confirmed the news with PEOPLE magazine.

“Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time,” the rep confirmed in a statement. “Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers.
“They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”
Rumours of a potential split spread like wildfire last week when the 26-year-old— who recently returned to acting to star in Black Mirror— posted a photo of herself on Instagram in which she was not wearing her wedding ring. As expected, hundreds of comments flooded in asking the singer if she’d split from her partner of over a decade, however, at the time, did not respond to her followers’ queries.
Miley is currently enjoying a lush vacation in Italy with Brody Jenner’s ex-wife Kaitlynn Carter— a trip which took place less than a week after Kaitlynn confirmed the couple of one year had decided to part ways. Over the weekend, Miley was snapped locking lips with her close pal, while spending the afternoon on a luxurious yacht.
However, photos from Entertainment Tonight has revealed that it ain’t no innocent girls’ trip. It’s a SEXCAPADE! Mere hours after the news about Miley and Liam broke, Miley was been spotted on an Italian getaway on boat cruise with Caitlyn Jenner’s son Brody Jenner’s ex-wife Kaitlynn Carter.
Last week, The Hills: New Beginnings star Brody Jenner and his ex Kaitlynn Carter announced that they had also decided to break up.

Brandon Thomas Lee, Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee’s son was quick to make a joke in the comments section saying: “Let’s round this scandal out and post a pic of us making out,” with the kissy-face emoji.
Brody responded, “@brandonthomaslee watch out! Pics of Liam and I holding hands on the beach coming soon,” along with the emoji of two men.
Well, Miley clearly had wifi on the boat, because she was the first to chime back in and clap-back at Brody. “@brodyjenner go take a nap in your truck and cool off #HotGirlSummer.”
Ouch.
Liam Hemsworth has been taking a different approach during this difficult time, not posting on social media or making any real comments. However, a source from RadarOnline has revealed that the Australian actor is “heartbroken” over losing her, and is blind sighted by her new public fling with Kaitlynn.
“Liam’s heartbroken, and his family cannot believe she is flaunting this for the world to see,” the source revealed. “They think she’s a disgrace.”
Last month, the “Party in the USA” hitmaker further fuelled speculation her marriage was on the rocks after she and Liam were caught arguing in public. Not long after their awkward spat, Miley ranted “I’m f**ing sick of men,” whilst performing her hit tune Wrecking Ball at Glastonbury
Liam was also spotted looking noticeably downcast as he watched an AFL game in Australia in late July.
