While we all knew it was coming, news that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have finalised their divorce feels a little sad.

But if Cody Simpson was ready to drop to one knee for Miley, he will still have to wait until February 22!
TMZ obtained legal documents that state the judge has signed their official divorce settlement.
The pair had submitted their paperwork months ago, but had to work through all the details in December with their lawyers, Laura Wasser who was representing Liam, and Judith R. Forman representing Miley.
While the pair thankfully have no children, it is being said that Miley will keep their pets. Sources have even told the publication that there is a prenup, which will make dividing up their property a lot easier.
It is probably why the divorce has run through so quickly as well.
Initially, it was Liam who filed for divorce in August 2019, citing ‘irreconcilable differences.’
Since then, Miley publically dated Kaitlyn Carter briefly, before committing to Cody Simpson, who she is still dating.
Liam was linked to Australian actress Maddison Brown for a hot minute, before going public with model Gabriella Brooks, who has already met his entire family.
