Melania Trump isn’t one to speak out often… but it seems like when she does, she’s making a horribly offensive statement.
Today, Melania Trump made an official trip to visit immigrant children at the Texas border, showing off a jacket tat read: “I REALLY DON’T CARE, DO U?” on the back.
The immigrant children Melania is on her way to visit have just been forcibly separated from their parents by her husband, Donald Trump’s policies. So, wearing a jacket that reads “I REALLY DON’T CARE” is ALL KINDS OF FKED UP.
Trump’s spokeswoman, Stephanie Grisham, has tried to dismiss the entire thing. “It’s a jacket. There was no hidden message. After today’s important visit to Texas, I hope this isn’t what the media is going to choose to focus on,” she told ABC White House reporter Meredith McGraw.
It’s been reported that Melania has taken the jacket off on the plane, but this is one major F up that people aren’t going to forget anytime soon.
