Connie Crayden is on a journey to self-discovery on Married At First Sight, but viewers, who are clued on to how scripted the show is, aren’t buying it. Especially after her final vows were found on Pinterest!

The 27-year-old marine biology student ended things with her TV-husband Jonethen Musulin on Sunday night’s episode, with a very empowering speech about ‘finding herself’.
However, fans are certain it’s a narrative producers are trying to push in order to get SOMETHING positive out of this season.
Connie told Jonethen she had kept him in the experiment while he kept writing ‘leave’ for herself, not for them.
“Although I didn’t find love with you, I found something so much more important. Something so valuable. I found that I am brave, I am strong, I am confident, and I am worthy. Ultimately, I’ve found myself,” Connie explained.
“Standing in front of you is a confident and proud woman who now understands her worth in this world. The only love and approval I need is from myself. I became the love I was searching for – but I could never have done any of this without you.”
They are affirmations that have been found on Pinterest and Tumblr.
A post on Pinterest includes the words “I am…” with many of the words Connie used.
Another post reads, “I love, accept and approve of myself”, which is pretty similar to Connie’s quote: “The only love and approval I need is from myself.”
Viewers weren’t shy in their comments, accusing producers of feeding the lines to Connie.
“Nice work with Connie’s vows, producer,” one fan tweeted.
“Hmm… wondering if the producers made Connie stay every week just so she could give that speech at the end,” another wrote.
“The producers reaaallly trying to sell us this Connie empowerment narrative, huh?”
