But how do their co-stars feel about it?
Mark Consuelos, the show’s formidable Hiram Lodge, recently made an appearance on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy with Andy Cohen, discussing the breakup.
Actually, it was there that he first heard about it.
“Is that true?” Mark responded when Andy said revealed that they had split.
“That’s what is being reported,” Andy said.
“I have…you know I’ve been gone from Vancouver for about ten days so I have no idea what’s going on over there,” Mark said.
Andy then revealed that he was never actually allowed to ask Lili or Cole about their relationship when they were in interviews.
“That’s surprising. I just kind of always knew that they were together. When I joined the show it was already a thing. I came on second season so I don’t know what happened the first season,” Mark said.
As much as we wanted to believe that the rumours about Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart breaking up weren’t true, the footage has emerged of the pair fighting at Comic-Con, and it SCREAMS ‘we’re over’.

“You guys are SO annoying,” she snaps at Cole and co-star KJ Apa, as they are giggling through the interview. “Just LEAVE” she continues as they keep laughing.
In the video at the top of this article, Lili and Cole argue further.
“Be respectful!” she snaps, turning back to scold Cole. “What?!” Cole asks in response.
“You look stoned,” Lili pushes.
This is when Cole scrunches up his face and mimicks Lili, mouthing something angrily at her.
Sources confirmed the breakup news this week, after somebody overheard Cole, 26, talking about the break up to a friend at a Comic-Con party in San Diego over the weekend.
Cole and Lili, 22, were attending the Comic-Con event together to promote Riverdale, and although they reportedly did not spend much time together, they were still friendly enough to sit next to each other during the show’s panel.
Interestingly, it was at Comic-Con in July 2017 that the couple confirmed their relationship to the world when they were spotted making out at the event.
Cole and Lili had initially been quite low-key about their relationship, but as time went on they shared more and more with the world.
In March this year, Cole opened up about his relationship with Lili, and it was heartwarming.
Cole described to Glamour Magazine the romantic date he took Lili, on surprising her with a hot air balloon ride.
“I really like the road-trip date. I took my girlfriend on a date where we drove to this location deep into Canada, and I surprised her with a big hot-air balloon adventure, which was quite a bit of fun. I like traveling quite a bit. I like road-tripping. Those grand experiences always end up yielding the greatest memories—and the greatest romances.”
Cole often used Lili as his muse when he was practicing his photography, posting gorgeous photos of her on his Instagram.
Sad.
