Madison Beer was forced to cut her mid-day concert short after a gun scare broke out in the crowd, TMZ reports.
The gun scare occurred on Saturday night at the BottleRock festival in Napa, California. Madison was in the middle of performing Radiohead’s song, “Creep”, when she had to abruptly stop and run to the side of the stage in a panic. Someone was allegedly pointing a gun in her direction and people in the crowd were yelling, “GUN!”.
In the video above, you can hear Madison talking to her stagehands, asking, “What is going on? Yo, yo, everyone pay attention. What’s going on?!”
Then she turned to the audience to tell them to back up, warning them of something she saw on the ground.
This is when the crowd starts to panic and some start to run.
You can see an older man in a green coat walking in an area that seems to be closed off near the front of the stage.
In another video, the same man is escorted out of the premises in handcuffs by police officers.
Napa Police later clarified what had happened. Police responded to a disturbance in the crowd and later kicked the man out that caused it. NPD says there seemed to be no weapons involved, and that there was no active threat to the community.
Madison later wrote on her Instagram story to address what happened…
