What causes someone to spiral? A break up is high on the list.
Mac Miller and Ariana Grande have been split for just over a week now, and while we thought it was an amicable end, things aren’t looking too good for Mac.
According to police reports, he has been arrested for drink driving and hit-and-run charges.
The rapper reportedly struck a power pole in the San Fernando Valley with his Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon and fled the scene; after police officers matched the vehicle’s license plates to Miller’s address, they arrested him at his home PEOPLE reports.
Miller was held on $15,000 bail before his release, and is set to appear in court on June 7.
TMZ reports that he confessed to the hit and run after driving drunk.
“He was the most polite and nice intoxicated person we’ve ever seen,” a police source told TMZ.
While fans believed that he and Ariana had split amicably, it became obvious that something more went down between the two after they unfollowed each other on social media yesterday.
Hopefully things start to get better for Mac after this arrest.
