Louis Tomlinson has been on a high since the release of his song “Back To You” ft. Bebe Rexha.
Although when a fan tweeted him saying, “so weird hearing ‘you mess me up’ on the radio when you’re so used to ‘you f- me up’ ,” he lost it.
“who played that ? capital ? It should just be blanked out !” He began.
Another fan jumped in, saying that, “mess me up sounds better than blank !!!!” to which he replied, “no it doesn’t its not cool to change the lyric . Changes the severity. It’s supposed to feel a little intense.”
Eek.
Unfortunately for Louis, another fan revealed that, “so @Louis_Tomlinson after serious research, a lot of radios and even music video channels have changed the lyrics to ‘mess’ and ‘trouble’, which had Louis responding with, “????”
“so annoying how radios can’t seem to respect an artists’ decision. Don’t worry about it, we’ll make sure the original message is heard!” Another fan reassured him, and that’s when our cheeky Sassmaster of Doncaster came out.
“I just won’t record the lyric change next time .”
What do you think sounds better? A blanked out swear word, or “you messed me up”??
