The Sun have just published an interview with Louis Tomlinson, and as much as he is promoting his new music right now, it focused heavily on the death of his mum Johannah Deakin.
Everyone remember’s when she passed away, as it shook the 1D fandom, and saw the reunion of the four boys while Louis bravely performed for the X Factor finale.
Although Louis has mentioned his mother since her passing, he hasn’t gotten this candid about her, and it’s a bit hard to read.
Louis revealed that Johannah had a dying wish, and it was for her son to make up with former bandmate Zayn Malik. The two were best friends in the band, but after Zayn left they got into a public feud.
Louis recalls, “My mum said, ‘You’ve got to get back in contact with Zayn. Life’s too f*****g short’.
“A mother’s intuition is just f*****g crazy. It always felt supernatural to me. My mum always knew what I was feeling and what I wanted.
“I can’t stand to hold a grudge with anyone. It doesn’t sit with me right.”

“If there is any animosity, just clear the air. I met up with him and it was nice,” he continued.
“Zayn was always good for me in the band because he was my go-to if I wanted to p**s around, lark around.
“I could always break the rules a little bit with Zayn.
“So after that whole thing, it was that brotherly love. We will always have that love for each other.
“I can’t speak on behalf of him but we really care about each other.”
Aside from his make up with Zayn, Louis went on to describe how grateful he is of his son, Freddie, but also admits that if he could have a do-over, he would stop the unplanned pregnancy from ever happening.
“I wouldn’t have made this decision if someone asked me on the day,” he says honestly.
“But thank God that the decision was made for me because it’s just a blessing to be this age and to be able to have a child.”
He recalls how close he was to his mother because she had him at such a young age, so he is hoping the same closeness will form between him and Freddie as he grows.
Another topic of conversation during the interview went to his girlfriend, Eleanor Calder, who he admits has been a huge help to him.
“I know me mum wouldn’t want me to walk around being gloomy all the time, so I try my best just to pick myself up when I can.
“Of course, there are times . . . and that’s why Eleanor has been so fantastic for me.”
He even admits that a few songs on his new album are dedicated to her.
“You’ll know what’s about Eleanor, you’ll know what’s about me, you’ll know what’s about the fans, you know it might hint a little bit about the relationship with my mum.”
