After taking a V. brief hiatus from YouTube following his suicide video controversy, Logan Paul has returned with his tail between his legs.
The disgraced internet personality has uploaded a video titled ‘Suicide: Be Here Tomorrow’ where he, once again, apologises for his offensive video and promises to make it up to everyone.
“I know I’ve made mistakes. I know I’ve let people down,” Paul said. “But what happens when you’re given an opportunity to make a difference in the world?”
In the video, the 22-year-old tries to make amends by chatting to American National Suicide Prevention Lifeline director Dr. John Draper and mental health advocate and suicide survivor Kevin Hines.
Paul also vows to donate $1 million (AUD $1.23 million) to suicide prevention organisations, with $250,000 (AUD $309,000) immediately going to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
“It’s time to start a new chapter in my life as I continue to educate myself and others on suicide,” Paul said. “I am humble and thankful to say this is just the beginning.”
Whether or not people will be able to forgive him remains to be seen, but check out the video below and decide for yourself:
