We already knew that Little Mix girls Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock were a force to be reckoned with, but hearing this news is the icing on the cake.
With other notable girl-group Fifth Harmony splitting up (sorry – going on hiatus), we’re cheering that LM definitely won’t be going anywhere soon.
They’re just killing it way too much.
And by killing it we mean breaking huge records.
According to Official Charts, the girls’ most recent album, Glory Days, has beaten both the Spice Girls and The Supremes by placing on the Top 40 for a record-breaking 69 weeks – to date.
The album was on top of the charts for five non-consecutive weeks after it’s release, in the Top 20 for 29 weeks, and then found its place in the Top 40, only dropping out for one week.
Not to mention it made a huge comeback by going into the Top 10 again. Right now it sits at #17.
WHAT an achievement.
The girls also had the highest grossing tour of 2017, which is something else to tick off their list.
WINNERS!
