Liam Payne has become a full-time daddy since he and Cheryl welcomed their baby boy into the world, but it doesn’t mean he isn’t in touch with any girls from his past.
His ex-girlfriend from over two years ago, Sophia Smith, has just revealed that the two are on friendly terms, and are still in touch.
Speaking to The Sun UK, she revealed that she is happy for Liam and Cheryl.
“I messaged to congratulate him. We’re all good. I’m happy for him,” she said.
Cute.
It’s a big difference from her previous statement about the two, calling their relationship “so weird.”
Sophia and Liam were dating while he was on X Factor, and TBH we don’t blame her for initially finding the whole relationship weird. Cheryl was one of Liam’s judges on the show when he and Sophia were together after all…
But, basically everyone is #OverIt now, and have accepted that they’re totally made for each other.
