It’s no secret that Zayn Malik left One Direction with hard feelings.
However, now that all the boys are pursuing solo careers (and it’s been legitimately years since all that drama went down), they’re looking to reconnect with their broody ex-band mate.
Well, Liam is.
Both Liam and Zayn are set to attend the 2018 BRIT Awards next month, both holding nominations.
Liam told the Daily Star that, “If he’s there and wants to hang out with me, then sure.”
So really, he’s leaving it up to Zayn to decide whether or not he wants to see and spend time with Liam, which is a pretty mature thing to do.
Earlier this month, Liam publicly wished Zayn a happy birthday on Twitter, calling him ‘bro’ and everything.
Clearly Liam is reaching out to his old friend, and honestly we couldn’t be happier about it.
