So remember that time when One Direction first announced that they were going on hiatus and claimed that they’d get back together in about 18 months?
Well, it’s been more than 18 months and here’s a live image of the 1D camp:
But in a new interview, Liam Payne has given us an almost definite time frame for the reunion and we’re not sure how to feel.
During a game of true or false, the “Strip That Down” singer was asked if the band would reunite in 2019.
He responded: “I cannot say if it’s true or false for 2019, but I would lean more for 2020.”
And just so you know he’s serious, he added: “I am willing to bet my money and my house.”
2020 feels like forever away, doesn’t it? *sigh*
In a recent interview, Niall admitted that the reason why the hiatus is taking longer than originally planned is due to the boys’ highly successful solo careers.
“We’re doing our own thing,” he told The Sun.
“You know I’m going to probably end up touring this, Harry will probably end up doing the same, probably Liam probably Louis, that’s a year – time adds up.”
Looks like we’re all just gonna have to be patient!
