Liam Payne has made a few sly comments about Cheryl being his “missus” before, making fans speculate on whether or not the couple got married in secret.
They are a very private pair, so it wouldn’t be totally surprising… and now that Liam has called her his “wife” we are SURE they are married.
In an interview with radio show SiriusXM in May, Liam joked about leaving Cheryl and baby Bear to fly to America to get fast-food.
“I left my wife and child at home and I was straight out to In-N-Out Burger.”
Well, he’s now done it again.
While talking to French website On The Move, Liam was explaining his writing process now that he’s a father. “To be honest with you, I don’t know yet what it is like to write while being a father, I have not passed through this experience.
“I have something that I’m preparing with Timbaland and I was writing with Pharrell when his wife was pregnant along with my wife for that matter.”
UM, OK.
Honestly, we could pass up the “missus” comment, but calling Cheryl his wife TWICE, it’s #confirmed that they definitely had a secret wedding.
