Disney, Demi Lovato And Idina Menzel Are Getting Sued Over ‘Frozen’ Banger “Let It Go”

Our Disney hearts are bleeding.

It’s the song that’s been stuck in our heads since 2013 (loudly and proudly, we might add), but it looks like “Let It Go” is guilty of a lot more than just being a catchy tune. According to new reports, the song was plagiarised from another artist.

Chilean artist Jaime Ciero is suing Disney, Demi Lovato and Idina Menzel for using parts of his 2008 track “Volar” on the Frozen theme song.

TMZ obtained a copy of Ciero’s lawsuit, in which he claims that “Let It Go” shares “note combinations, structures, hooks, melodies, lyrics, themes, production and textures” with his song.

He also claims that his Spanish song was “a huge international success reaching millions of listeners and landing on numerous charts of the most popular, top-performing songs.”

Ciero is seeking profits from the peeps responsible for the Disney tune for the money they allegedly made off his tune.
