Leighton Meester and Adam Brody Joint Interview

Your two favourite TV characters ever – Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl and Seth Cohen from The O.C. – grew up and became the real life couple of your fan dreams.

However, both Leighton Meester and Adam Brody are *quite* private about their marriage, and their one year old daughter Arlo Day Brody. So when we found out they had just given their very first interview as a couple, we basically had a mini meltdown of excitement.

The couple even took a moment to speak about their characters, when Entertainment Tonight asked if they find the joke about ‘Seth and Blair’ funny.

“Occasionally,” Brody said.

“Yeah, maybe occasionally. Not in the same way maybe you do,” Meester said.

“Once a year—once a year, we have a Seth and Blair day, where we dress up,” Brody joked. “It’s good for a laugh.”

Meester then gave the brutally honest answer that “It doesn’t excite us, I think, because we’re just human beings.” She followed up by saying, “but it’s exciting to us that it’s exciting to you. It’s cool.”
