Luke Perry’s death has seen a huge outpouring of love and support from fans, and fellow actors. But one we’ve been waiting for is KJ Apa’s, as he worked closest to Luke during his final years.
Luke and KJ play on-screen father and son in The CW show Riverdale, and their chemistry is something that has always brought us back to the show, whenever it gets weird.
Mainly due to the fact that Luke was the most wholesome, loving character on the show.
Now, KJ has shared touching words on Instagram, sharing a beautiful photo of Luke’s smiling face.
“Rest in Love bro,” he wrote.

Earlier on Thursday, KJ references Luke’s tragic death for the first time on social media by posting a screenshot of the Third Eye Blind song “The Background” to his Insta story.
