Not all actors or actresses know that acting is the career path they’ll take.
Hell, most of them will have a back up plan to pursue because acting is so hard to get into.
But sometimes, it’s soooo hard to imagine them doing anything else than blessing our screens.
Especially something like ACCOUNTING!!!
Could you imagine KJ Apa doing your taxes? No, it’s a nice thought… but not something we could ever imagine.
However, he totally could.
While chatting toThe Last Magazine in a feature, he revealed that it was totally his future plan.
“I wanted to be an accountant for a long time,” he laughs. “I wanted to play rugby and music was also a massive part of my life, but thinking realistically, I thought I’d go to university and study business and be an accountant.”
Instead, he went into modelling, and ended up on New Zealand’s Shortland Street instead.
“I pretty much learned everything that I know on that show,” KJ adds. “I had no idea about the industry, I had no idea how things worked on set, I had no idea how to act, so it was a massive learning curve for me. It forced me to grow up pretty fast.”
The more you know.
