A quick scroll through Kim Kardashian West‘s Instagram will show you that the self-obsessed reality star hasn’t taken a selfie in some time.
Sure, there are loads of pics of her looking ~fire~ but they aren’t necessarily selfies, they are shots that have been taken out-and-about by other people.
Why is that, you ask?
Well, apparently the selfie-queen is done with taking pics of herself!
Yep, you read that correctly.
Kim Kardashian, the inventor of the selfie, the woman who released two books consisting only of her selfies, has declared selfies dead.
The blasphemy went down in a new clip shared by Keeping Up With the Kardashians’s official Twitter where Kim plays a game of “Would You Rather?” with sister Khloè.
Koko asks Kim: “Would you rather never be able to post a selfie or never be able to Snapchat again?”
Kim responds: “I would rather never be able to post a selfie again. Take a selfie.”
“Yeah. I kinda feel like, I dunno, selfies are kind of a few years ago,” she adds.
Kim is V active on Snapchat nowadays. She just loves to show off her lush life and blesses us with vids of her home, her fam and her day-to-day lifestyle.
So in comparison, we guess it’s probz more ~fRuItFuL~ for us thirsty fans to see her life through vids rather than through selfies.
But at least we’ll always have this ICONIC memory to treasure forever…
