Kim Kardashian West knows how to rock the boat, so much so that we think she sometimes does it on purpose!
Most recently, fans have taken offense to the cultural appropriation she has used for the name of her shape wear line: Kimono.

The KKW Beauty founder only just announced her move into shapewear, but it all went downhill when she revealed the name.
Kimono’s are traditionally a Japanese garment… that has absolutely nothing to do with shapewear.
Kardashian-West has, in fact, tried to trademark the word so she can use it for her new line, as the Los Angeles Times reports.
People were pissed, taking to social media to call out Kim for her cultural appropriation.
“My culture is not your plaything,” wrote one fan. “My culture is not your brand name generator,” stated another.
Other people are sharing photos of themselves in an actual kimono.
Kim has yet to respond to any of the criticism.
However, we’re certain she knew this kind of storm was coming.
TMZ reported last year that Kim filed documents with the trademark “Kimono Intimates.” At the time, it received a lot of negative responses.
