Kesha has opened up about her eating disorder in an emotional interview

"I hated myself."

If there’s anyone who has grown a helluva lot in the past few years, it’s Kesha.

Just recently, the singer opened up to For The Record in an incredibly candid interview, where she spoke about her eating disorder.

“I just, like, hated myself so much. I had so much sadness. I was projecting [a] person that promotes self-love. And I was doing none of that for myself,” she said about admitting herself into a clinic. She was asked if someone persuaded her to do so, and she said: “No, I was the one that was like, ‘OK, I have to.'”

Kesha was in treatment for two months. “I was in such a dark hole of a place,” she said. “And the song, ‘Rainbow,’  I kind of wrote as, like, a letter to myself, to like, ‘You can get it back.'”

While she didn’t open up or comment much about what went on between her and producer Dr. Luke, she did say that “There’s only so much somebody can take.”

Amen girl.
