We’ve had to sit back and listen to Katy Perry‘s piss poor Taylor Swift disses for months and now that it’s Tay’s time to return the shade, Katy isn’t having it.
Taylor debuted her shade-filled “Look What You Made Me Do” music video at the VMAs on Monday while Katy hosted the show, meaning that she would have had to watch all of Taylor’s disses, right?
Wrong!
Apparently Katy refused to watch the video.
E! reports that Katy was backstage, changing into one of her 10 outfits for the night and missed the premiere of the vid.
Whether this was intentional or not is unclear but tbf, it probz was!
“Everyone backstage was going insane over it, and a few people gave her the highlights,” a source told the outlet.
“Knowing Katy, I’m sure she has seen it by now.”
Meanwhile, another source claims that Katy is so over the Taylor dramz now.
“Katy wants the Taylor war to be in the past and she is focused on moving forward,” the source said.
“She wants to be cool with Taylor, but [Taylor] isn’t budging. Katy is focusing on herself and her upcoming tour right now and doesn’t want any bad energy.”
That’s what she said last time though then she went in for the shade with the “Swish Swish” music video.
At this point, we are ~just waiting~ for Katy to issue some kind of shady tweet or comment in response to “LWYMMD” ‘cos let’s face it, Katy got ROASTED.
