Justin Bieber isn’t a stranger to getting in trouble with the law, but for a while now he’s been pretty straight!
Well, consider his good streak officially #broken, because he has just been caught by police using his mobile phone while driving.
TMZ reports that Justin was pulled over by the police on the weekend in Beverly Hills, and while it’s unknown whether he was texting or talking on the phone… it’s still illegal.
It’s ironic that Justin did a PSA a few years ago about the dangers of texting and driving, encouraging fans to stay safe while behind the wheel and be responsible.
Justin won’t be facing any jail time for the citation, instead he was issued a ticket on the spot, which according to the average fine in California, will be around $162 USD.
Justin hasn’t said anything publicly about the incident, but it’s a good reminder that texting while driving is an absolute NO-NO, as it is highly dangerous.
