Yesterday, news hit that rapper Juice WRLD had tragically passed away after suffering a reported seizure at Chicago’s Midway Airport.

It was reported by PEOPLE that the artist – whose real name is Jarad Anthony Higgins – was conscious en route to the hospital on Sunday after suffering a seizure, but passed away shortly after.
The exact cause and manner of Juice WRLD’s death remain unknown, as a representative for the Cook County Bureau of Administration confirmed the results of the autopsy were inconclusive.
“The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has determined that additional studies are required to establish the cause and manner of death for 21-year-old Jarad A. Higgins,” the rep said in a statement on Monday.
“Additional studies include cardiac pathology, neuropathology, toxicology and histology.”
Chicago police confirmed to the Chicago Sun-Times on Monday that the 21-year-old suffered a medical emergency at the airport after disembarking from his private jet around 2 a.m.
Juice’s rperesntative shared the following statement after his passing: “Juice made a profound impact on the world in such a short period of time. He was a gentle soul, whose creativity knew no bounds, an exceptional human being and artist who loved and cared for his fans above everything else.
“To lose someone so kind and so close to our hearts is devastating. Our thoughts are with Juice’s family and friends, everyone at his label Grade A, and his millions of fans around the world.”
