Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are basically the definition of #CoupleGoals, but that doesn’t mean that it’s always been smooth sailing for the couple.
John recently spoke to The Guardian about his relationship with Chrissy, and revealed that although they have been together for almost 10 years, he nearly ended things with her.
“I was really stressed and busy. I was just like, ‘I’d just be happier single right now,’ and she was like, ‘No,'” John revealed. Lol.
“She pushes me to be funnier, not because she’s trying to, I think it’s just being around her. And to be bolder.”

The couple met in 2007 when Chrissy was cast in the video for John’s single “Stereo”.
“It was this one-on-one video of just me and a girl, and she’s my love interest in the video,” John recalls of the shoot. “We spent the whole day dancing together, grinding together. And, uh, we made a music video.”
