If there’s one person on this earth that we’d never expect to make any controversial comments, especially regarding a persons sexuality and/or identity, it would be JK Rowling.
So when the author went on a liking spree of transphobic tweets on Twitter, we were shook on a new level.
“Trans women have no right to take women’s place in politics,” read one of the Tweets JK favourited.
“Men in dresses get brocialist solidarity,” another one read, “I never had that.”
Since people started freaking the hell out over it, she has un-favourited them and explained that it was all a huge accident.
Rebecca Salt, who represents JK, addressed the issue, saying, “I’m afraid JK Rowling had a clumsy and middle-aged moment.” She added that this is “not the first time she has favorited by holding her phone incorrectly.”
