James Charles is spilling the tea about Ariana Grande, but he still loves her dw (!!!!!)….
While fellow YouTuber’s Shane Dawson and Ryland Adams sat down to do James’ makeup, Shane asked who the “rudest celebrity” James has ever met was.
To everyone’s shock, he said it was Ariana Grande (and we refuse to believe it).
Apparently, he and Ariana became Instagram friends and started DMing each other after he went to one of her concerts last year. She had even apparently told him that she would have him backstage at one of her shows some time.
However, it was around the same time that James was rolling in a helluva lot of drama, like the Ebola comments he made, and the fact that his yearbook photoshoot (that made him famous) came out to be fake.
“My scandals started happening”, as he puts it.
When Ari heard about all the drama, she unfollowed him. We mean, she’s allowed to be offended by a racist joke…
“Literally four hours later I started getting tweets to me like, ‘wow Ariana unfollowed James, the rat gets what he deserves’ and like, ‘wow, love karma.’ So I was like ‘what the heck?’ and I checked back and she did actually unfollow me, like, literally three hours after she had followed me in the first place!
“So I messaged her back and I was like, ‘hey, did I do something wrong?’ And she was literally like, ‘hey babe, I saw a lot of angry tweets from my fans and I would never want to disappoint them, so I unfollowed.‘”
She is fiercely loyal to her fans, so we’re not that surprised.
James then messaged her back, saying he was “disappointed” that she would listen to her fans, or “stoop to the level of listening to people bullying me just to appease them, but OK.”
Yikes.
However he still believes that Ariana is “one of the most talented vocalists of our generation,” which tbh is very true.
