Shane Dawson had achieved something we all thought was impossible: sympathy for Jake Paul.
After his intensive docuseries following Jake and delving into the psychological reasons why he is the way he is (annoying), many came to the conclusion that Jake had put his antics behind him and was maturing into a respectable adult.
Well, we were wrong.
Jake is being sued for forging his friend’s name on a lease to his house and then TRASHING the place.
Wow.
Legal documents obtained by TMZ, Max Goodrich claims that he and Jake once considered moving in together, but Max backed out.
The documents also claim that even though they didn’t move in together, Jake continued to use Max’s name and good credit score to get him the rental properly.
Homeowners are taking legal action against Jake and Mac for “leaving the place in ruins.”
Max is also suing Jake for fraud.
WHAT A MESS.
According to Max, his name never should have been on the lease, which is why he is calling for Jake to cover any damages necessary.
