Nova 96.9 host Fitzy revealed that fans of Channel Ten’s show think that he is the mystery behind the prawn suit.

Co-host Wippa was also convinced, going through the clues on-air to either confirm or dispel the rumour.

“Let’s go and have a listen to some of the other clues because the prawn – and you don’t want to give it away and Fitzy’s got such a distinct Aussie accent – they have to change the voice,” Wippa said, before playing the first clue from the show.

The first clue was: “It’s no surprise to find me at the big occasions”.

Well, as Wippa pointed out, Fitzy has attended HUGE events such as Coachella and the ARIA’s, exclaiming: “You’re the big event guy, the big event prawn!”

The second clue read, “I famously spent a lot of time around the house,” which is an obvious reference to Fitzy’s time in the Big Brother House – which brought him to fame.

“Now that was the one that’s gone into meltdown”, Fitzy admitted.

“I like most types of music which has come in very handy in the past,” was the third and final clue.

Fitzy is a pretty big music buff. “I own about 400 band T-shirts”, he stated.

Apparently Channel Ten had already approached the Nova team for the show, namely Wippa, to be a contestant on The Masked Singer, which adds eveb more fuel to the fire.

However Fitzy has denied all the rumours.

“Can I just tell everyone who’s tweeting me at the moment, ‘You guys think you’re so smart?’.

“I watched the first 5 minutes; a prawn walked out and went ‘I like sports!’ and tried to dance. I haven’t watched it since”.

We guess we’ll just have to wait and see!
