Many fans were appalled that she would promote something so harmful to young women, and it seemed like Kim copped the heat by deleting the post.

However… shortly after, the post was back. We just assumed that she wanted her money from the ad and thought ‘f*** it, I’m used to all the hate anyway.’

But one fan who tried to report Kim’s post saw a message saying that the post was already gone, due to violation of the Community Guidelines.

Buzzfeed News however spoke to Instagram, where they confirmed that the delete was an accident. Now, they’re apologising.

“We mistakenly removed content we shouldn’t have and apologised to Kim for the inconvenience caused,” a rep for Instagram told the publication.
