We’re not exactly surprised that Kylie Jenner makes a sh*tload of cash off her Instagram, but we’re always… always so shook when we find out how much exactly.
According to new research, Kylie is the most valuable influencer on social media, beating Beyoncé.
Every single post on her social media is now worth… wait for it… $1 million USD.
YEP.
The social media measurement firm D’Marie Analytics analysed the data after they saw a huge rise in fan attention on Kylie’s page, after posting about her daughter Stormi’s birth.
This post became the most liked post in IG history…
So how did they work it out? They got statistics like, followers, how many people are viewing the post, comment, and take action (like click a link). They assign “value” to the demographic of followers she has, to help measure how much her posts would be worth if they were all advertisements.
She isn’t the most followed person on IG (that goes to Selena Gomez), but the most valued person, because of how she uses social media.
“Influencer valuations move up and down like the stock market, but Kylie is methodical about consistently generating aspirational content for her social audience, without jeopardising authenticity,” Frank Spadafora, the CEO of D’Marie Analytics, said in a press release.
It’s because of that connection she has with her followers that her Kylie Cosmetics posts make her a whole lot of dough too.
