Harry Styles has been busy on his first ever solo tour recently, and up until now, things have been going swimmingly.
However, while performing at the We Can Survive breast cancer benefit concert at the Hollywood Bowl on Saturday night, fans caught an uncomfortable moment on camera.
As Harry got on his knees at the front of the stage while performing “Kiwi” an audience member grabbed his crotch quite aggressively. You then see Harry tug her arm away and walk off.
“Near the end of performing ‘Kiwi,’ like usual, Harry went to the very front of the stage to get the crowd extra excited,” a witness told Yahoo!.
“He got down onto his knees and was shaking his arms to the music with his eyes closed. A fan then reached out and touched his crotch. He very quickly got up and appeared to also shove their hand a little bit to remove them faster. You can tell it freaked him out a little because as he continued performing, he avoided the section that fan was standing in.”
Fans have been really angry online since the incident, even creating the hashtag #RespectHarry.
They’re also pointing out that touching somebody in this way, without consent, is sexual harassment and assault. No matter if they are famous or not.
Harry has yet to make any comments on social media since the incident.
