In what looks like the sexiest interview we’ve ever seen, The Face magazine have teased their upcoming cover star: Harry Styles.
Posing with an open leather jacket showing off his GORJ chest, with his hair falling onto his face, the publication reveal that: “It’s been two years since @harrystyles shocked the world with his eponymous debut and lead single, Sign of the Times. After 89 arena-packed shows across five continents, the 25-year-old all but disappeared. Now he’s back to bare all.”
But it won’t just be his chest that he bares. The publication’s Instagram posted a quote from Harry touching on gender fluidity.
“What’s feminine and masculine… it’s like there are no lines anymore,” he says.

This is a topic that Harry has been passionately speaking about since his hiatus from One Direction.
The publication discusses Harry’s fashion choices in relation to his views on gender fluidity.
“A couple of years ago his stylist acquired for him a pair of pink metallic Saint Laurent boots that he has never been photographed wearing. Styles wears them ‘to get milk'”.
They continued: “He’s not sure, but he has, ballpark, 50 pairs of shoes, as well as full closets in at least three postcodes. He settles on an outfit fairly quickly, maybe changes his T-shirt once before heading out, but mostly knows what he likes..”
It’s no secret that Harry has been very flamboyant with his style since coming into his own. Just look at his Met Gala 2019 outfit below:
His fashion choices have seemed to blur the lines for many regarding his sexuality, but in 2017, Harry made it clear that he won’t define his sexuality, no matter how hard-pressed he is.
“Everyone should just be who they want to be. I’ve never felt the need to [label] really,” he told The Sun.
He continued, “I don’t feel like it’s something I’ve ever felt like I have to explain about myself.”
That’s explanation enough.
It never stopped him from being out-there with his clothing choices though. In fact, it made him push the boundaries even more, especially during his solo world tour, where he enlisted fashion designer Harris Reed, who at the time was basically unknown.
For his Amsterdam show, he wore a pirate chic head-to-toe extravaganza designed by Reed, which PAPER mag discussed with him at the time.
“With Harry, what was so beautiful is that he understood me. When we first met, he knew my backstory and that I came out as gay when I was 9 years old and lived in Arizona and got bullied and moved. He knew so many personal details and understood that for me, clothing is armour. He completely understood that vision.
“For him to wear my stuff on such a grand stage? I couldn’t stop crying for two days. It wasn’t even because he’s Harry Styles. It was just seeing so many people email me and send me messages about how happy people were to see him in my designs and pushing a sense of fluidity. I love the word fluid because it represents so many things and doesn’t have to identify anyone to any sex, gender, or anything. It’s just a way of being.”
Harris continued, explaining how he really feels that Harry understood his designs, which represent fluidity, flair and #farshun of course.
“I feel that he really understood and got every bit of it. He was so excited and it was such a great step for him, especially with his new song ‘Medicine,’ coming out with that slight reference to his sexuality.”
It’s true, fans called Harry’s song “Medicine” their new bi-anthem, however, it’s important to many, especially Harry and now Harris Reed that nobody owes an explanation about who they are.
“I love the song in general and to have him singing it while wearing my clothes is fantastic, but I hope that now people will let him be and let him focus on being an artist and an icon.”
