Harry Styles isn’t just a successful rockstar. He’s a loud and proud feminist.
From wearing “Women Are Smarter” T-shirts, and hitting back in his Rolling Stone interview when asked about his “young teenage audience.”
Remember when he came out with this beauty?
“Who’s to say that young girls who like pop music – short for popular, right? – have worse musical taste than a 30-year-old hipster guy? That’s not up to you to say. Music is something that’s always changing. There’s no goal posts. Young girls like the Beatles. You gonna tell me they’re not serious? How can you say young girls don’t get it? They’re our future. Our future doctors, lawyers, mothers, presidents, they kind of keep the world going. Teenage-girl fans – they don’t lie. If they like you, they’re there. They don’t act ‘too cool.’ They like you, and they tell you. Which is sick.”
Well, he’s gone and done it again fam!
While performing during his concert in Dallas, Texas this week, he made a speech to his fans that had us swooning.
“I could not feel more honoured to stand and perform in front of a group of strong women every night,” he told the crowd. “So thank you so much. You let me do this, I love you forever.”
No, Harry, we love you forever. Especially when you’re wearing a rainbow feather boa and pink cowboy hat.
