Harry Styles‘ world tour has just kicked off in the US and we’ve already been ~treated~ to a glimpse of what’s to come via the international fandom.

We know all about the covers, the outfits, the merch and, of course, the fact that Harry loudly and proudly brings out the LGBT flag during each performance.

His message of equality has caught on with his fans and they have started to bring their own LGBT flag to his shows to wave in unison with Harry because #LOVEISLOVE.
But in what was a sad day for human rights, a Harry fan had her flag confiscated as she was trying to enter his Nashville show.
The US based fan, Brittney Ann Womack shared her experience via Instagram.
“For those of you who are curious about what happened: I was going through security and I had my flag in my bag,” she writes.
“There was a man there and he pulled it out and shook his head. ‘No flags. This is just a friendly confiscation.’ He didn’t give me any reasoning what so ever. That was literally /my/ f***ing pride. It made me upset. He then proceeded to throw it under the table as if it meant nothing. I have three witnesses. So I go in and there’s at least 12 other people that are just freely wearing there flags?? I was so lost and honestly hurt. That flag meant everything to me and I had it hung up on the wall forever. It was a part of me.”
In an act of pure kindness and bravery, Harry returned the flag to Britt on-stage.
“And then the legend that is Harry Styles came out with it at the end and starting talking and said ‘I heard this was removed, so I brought it back.’ He brought out my f***ing flag. He wasn’t having any of the ryman’s bulls***t. I’m so damn proud of you @harrystyles. I’m so proud to be a fan of someone like you,” she continues.
“Thank you for tonight. It’s a moment I will never forget. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you to his band who absolutely smashed it and thank you to muna and cam who gave outstanding performances! Never been so happy. Thank you @clareuchima@adampendergast@alexsalibian@whereismuna@camcountry 🌹🌈 (also a big f**k you to Ryman Auditorium. You belittled a community tonight. I hope you’re happy. We weren’t obstructing ANYONE’s views.)”
