While Halsey was performing her Hopeless Fountain Kingdom Tour in Canada last week, she stunned crowds by abruptly ending her show halfway through.
Everyone had to leave the building without knowing WTH was going on, and at the time, Live Nation released a statement that said her Edmonton show which was meant to happen the next day, was cancelled “due to a personal emergency.”
Later, Halsey took to Instagram to semi explain what was going on.
“I’m so sorry to the fans in Calgary and Edmonton who were effected by the cancellations… This is breaking my heart but I have to take a few days to gain my composure so I can put on the best show possible…”
She ended the note with, “Thank you for understanding and respecting the privacy of me and those close to me during this time. I love you.”
Halsey returned to the stage in Minnesota over the weekend, posting her gratitude to her fans.
“I am so grateful to u. Thank you for being a beacon of light,” she wrote.
Obviously, something horrible has happened in Halsey’s personal life that has taken a huge toll on the performer, and it’s important to respect her privacy during this time.
