Several Glee cast members just called out Lea Michelle for being “a living hell” to work with

"LMAO Remember when you made my first television gig a living hell?!? Cause I'll never forget."

Glee star Lea Michelle has been accused—by several cast members and behind-the-scenes staff—of being “a living hell” to work with, inciting “traumatic micro-aggressions,” and alienating co-workers.

In the midst of the protests for justice for George Floyd, the Scream Queens actress tweeted in support for justice for George Floyd. Then, Glee co-star Samantha Ware, who was new to Hollywood during her time on the show, wrote in a quote retweet that Michelle carried out several “traumatic micro-aggressions,” including threatening to “s**t in her wig.”

The reference “**t[ing] in her wig” is not only a racist micro-aggression about Ware’s natural hair as an African American person, but also a genuinely aggressive threat.

And, allegedly, Ware’s not alone. A near infinite number of production and behind-the-scenes staff claim that Michelle alienated them, refused to speak to them and called them “cockroaches.”

As this was all unfolding, Michelle’s co-star Amber Riley, who worked closely with the Broadway singer and actress throughout the series, tweeted a set of gifs of a woman sipping tea.

Glee co-star, singer and RuPaul’s Secret Drag Race contestant Alex Newell also retweeted Ware’s tweet with a gif of RuPaul’s Drag Race queen Coco Montrese saying, “get her, Jade,” a reference that can only mean Ware is dropping truths.

Maybe, Naya Rivera was right. Maybe, Lea Michelle really is Rachel Berry after all.

In light of the allegations, Hello Fresh has pulled out of a brand deal with Lea Michelle. The Glee star has yet to comment on the accusations against her.
