In a highly alarming video, Ezra Miller, the actor from Fantastic Beasts and Perks of Being A Wallflower appears to choke a woman at Prikið Kaffihús bar in Reykjavik, Iceland.

The video has made its way around Twitter, dividing fans on whether or not it’s real, or if he is just playing fighting. However, the person filming seems frantic as he chokes the woman and pushes her to the ground.
However, Variety sources from Prikið Kaffihús—the Reykjavik, Iceland bar where the incident occurred—confirmed that “this was a serious altercation,” and identified it as Ezra. They also explained how he was escorted out of the venue.
You can hear in the video Ezra say: “Oh, you wanna fight? That’s what you wanna do?” right before he reaches out and puts his hands around the woman’s neck.
He then pushes her to the ground, as the person recording says: “Whoa, bro. Bro.” That is when the video is cut off.
According to the Chicago Tribune, a different source at the bar said the incident began when Ezra “was confronted by a group of eager fans, who were ‘quite pushy.'”
They continued, “Things then escalated, with Miller losing [their] temper at one woman in particular.”
While celebrities have constantly been faced with “pushy” fans, violence is never the answer.
Ezra has yet to make any comments on the video, but fans have had a lot to say on Twitter. But mostly, there were the memes:
