James Charles is leaving his single life in 2019, and making 2020 his year to “get wifed up”.

Since the beauty star had a bit of controversy surrounding his Tinder profile, he’s taken an unconventional route and uploaded a Bachelor video to his growing Tik Tok account, where he claims is “pretty much a dating app,” where everyone is “either in a very cute relationship or painfully single”.
“I want to play Tik Tok Bachelor,” he began. “My name is James Charles, I’m 20 years old and I’m 5′ 10”. I live in Los Angeles, California and I’m a beauty YouTuber so sometimes I look pretty and when I don’t look pretty I have a pretty fun personality to make up for it,” he said.
He added, “I’m a very hard worker, but in my free time I like horror movies, escape rooms, singing with friends, eating at new restaurants and also I have fun nails for backscratching and cuddling.”
Many fans had a positive reaction to James’ dating profile, wanting him to step it up a bit and become the first gay Bachelor.
It’s not the worst idea, since the show is probably one of the most dramatic reality shows on television… why not add the most drama-filled internet star to the mix?
We can already visualise it.
James’ dating life has been the centre of a lot of drama recently, ever since his massive feud with Tati Westbrook unveiled that he ‘preys’ on straight men, one in particular being a young waiter named Sam Cooke from Seattle, who lied about James pressuring him into something.
“The reality is that the ‘hook-up’ was completely consensual,” James said to Paper. “[The waiter] told me that he was bisexual and later on told the world he was bisexual. There’s nothing wrong with that.”
James discussed how the accusations were highly damaging to the LGBTQ+ community.
“What that statement implies is that gay men are all predatory, which is disgusting, not true and very dangerous to put out there. The whole situation was scary for the LGBTQ+ community and paints a really bad picture of gay men.”
