The Gossip Girl reboot is in FULL swing, with the brand new cast already announced. But we all want to know ONE thing: are the original cast members going to return?

Well, Ed Westwick, the star who played Chuck Bass, has just hinted to his fans that he will be reprising his old role. EEEK!!!
Posting a throwback of the cast to his Instagram, he wrote the following caption: “What a time, would I still look good in the limo?”
Oh honey, you know you would.
Right now, we are certain that original voice of Gossip Girl Kristen Bell will be returning, but as for the rest of them, they’ve all hinted but not confirmed.
As for the new cast, they will be playing brand new characters. So the show is more of a sequel than an actual reboot.
Disney star Thomas Doherty has been cast in the show as the new-ish Chuck Bass. But we know nobody will ever replace the original.
The rest of the new cast include Emily Alyn Lind, Whitney Peak, Eli Brown, Jason Gotay, and Johnathan Fernandez.
After the cast was announced, the very first promo for the sequel was released online.
The poster is FULL of “XOXO’s” and the very famous line “You know you’ll love me.”
There is a pair of legs dangling on the MET steps in New York, where Blair and Serena ruled.
The only difference? The shoes aren’t Jimmy Choos or Loubs, they’re Golden Goose sneakers. How very *un* Upper East Side, but it’s a welcome change that the show is ought to bring.
