Disney baes Dove Cameron and Ryan McCartan may be out of each other’s lives since their ~controversial~ breakup, but it looks like the drama ain’t going anywhere.
Some awkwardness went down on Twitter regarding their song “Glowing in the Dark” that played during ABC’s telecast of the Solar Eclipse yesterday.
After hearing their song play on the program, both stars took to Twitter to express their excitement.
def never thought a song of mine would be used as the theme for a once in a lifetime natural phenomenon #glowinginthedark #SolarEclipse17

“Def never thought a song of mine would be used as the theme for a once in a lifetime natural phenomenon #glowinginthedark#SolarEclipse17,” Dove wrote.
“So grateful our song was used on ABC in honor of such a momentous occasion! #thegirlandthedreamcatcher #glowinginthedark #SolarEclipse17,” Ryan tweeted.
Sounds innocent enough, right?
Look closer.
Dove called it a “song of mine” while Ryan called it “our song”, leading Twitter users to stir up beef between the pair.
i'm sorry for this question, but what about ryan?

After seeing all the responses, Ryan tweeted:
“Lol y’all can pretend I don’t exist I get paid either way.”
Followed by a shady AF tea-related pic.
Ugh! Can this feud stay in the past, pls?
