Just last week, the new cast of Disney’s live-action Kim Possible was announced, bringing two fairly fresh-faced teen actors into the limelight: Sadie Stanley (Kim) and Sean Giambrone (Ron Stoppable).
But fans were NOT happy about the casting.
Seeing the hate, former Disney actor Cole Sprouse took to Twitter to not only call out the fans, but defend these young actors.
“Lot of adults in this post directing hate towards a couple kids simply because their cartoon doesn’t look the same anymore. You guys need to grow the hell up and realize you’re talking about kids who are likely happy to have gotten the job. Kids who, in some way, might hear you,” he wrote.
AMEN Cole.
Not only are these actors young teenagers, but they would be elated to get this career-changing role. Fans should wait and see the new movie with their acting skills before passing judgement, as it’s likely that they’ll fall in love with them eventually.
Congrats again to Sadie Stanley and Sean Giambrone for landing the iconic roles!
