Yesterday, Cody Simpson was overheard b*tching about his girlfriend Miley Cyrus.

Onlookers at the Andrew Boy Charlton pool in Sydney caught Cody saying, “We had a weird one yesterday… not really an argument but she kind of shut down.”
“Yeah, it was kind of s**tty, but whatever,” he added.
Cody went on to discuss how the country has turned on him as their loyalties lie with Liam Hemsworth, Miley’s ex-husband.
“I’m copping s**t here because of [her] exes. You know, her husband is Australian,” Cody continued.
Yikes.
Now, backtracking, the Aussie singer has taken to his Instagram to gush about his girlfriend, calling her his “archangel and best mate”.

While Cody is also Australian, the public has defended Liam during the split, especially after Miley’s post-divorce behaviour.
Liam, who has unbothered by Miley’s actions, claims that it’s exactly what he expected from her.
A source close to Liam, 29, told E! News that he’s “stopped seeking out updates on her and what she’s gotten up to. He doesn’t want to hear about it and usually doesn’t.”
“Nothing is really a surprise at this point,” the insider continued. “He’s leaving it all in the past and is in a different place now. He is busy on set and working. That’s his focus now and what he is going to keep doing.”
Not to mention the hunk has a new girlfriend, Maddison Brown, which is reportedly becoming “serious”.
“It’s still early days but Liam is head over heels for Maddison. This has all the makings of a serious relationship,” the sources told New Idea. “He and Maddison have so much in common, they’re having a great time.”
