If you’re hooked up to a live mic, you should probably be careful with what you say.
Unfortunately for This Is Us star Chrissy Metz, she forgot about that while at the 2019 Golden Globes yesterday.
While talking in an interview with Facebook live, co-host AJ Gibson asked if she knew actress Alison Brie.
“Do I?” Chrissy replied.
“I hear she’s at the other end of the carpet,” Gibson said, as the camera panned towards Brie.
Then, seemingly unaware that her mic was still on, Chrissy said, “She’s such a b**ch.”
People watching the show were obviously shook by the blunder.
Not long after the tape went viral, Chrissy took to Twitter to clear things up.
“It’s terribly unfortunate anyone would think much less run a story that was completely fabricated! I adore Alison and would never say a bad word about her, or anyone! I sure hope she knows my heart.”
Alison then posted on her Instagram Story.
“Nothing but love for @chrissymetz !! Rumors can’t keep us down.”
