Jacob Elordi and Kaia Gerber have taken their relationship—friendship? courtship? casual dalliance?—bicoastal. The pair were just spotted hanging out in New York’s SoHo area on what people reckon is very much a date.
If you remember, just last week the Aussie Euphoria star went out to dinner with the 19-year-old model. The casual dinner (at the celeb-fave restaurant Nobu of course) sparked dating rumours and fears from Jacob and Zendaya shippers that their rumoured romance was done.
Now, the couple has been spotted (Elordi with his film camera in tow of course) out and about on the other side of the U.S. Peep these pictures from celebrity gossip account @deuxmoi.
The pair were masked up and—while it is a little hard to tell from the pics—were apparently holding hands! Gerber’s pink hair is also on display here.
Prior to these new New York pics, a source told E! News, “Jacob definitely has interest in dating Kaia, but there is nothing serious going on there.” The source added, “They have many mutual friends and have hung out many times in the past. They both have very chill personalities and similar interests. Jacob makes Kaia laugh and her family adores him.”
Gerber is also keeping it light, though the source said they did flirt with each other. “She has told friends she is single and is only having fun and hanging out with people.”
The actor and model do seem to be in sync even if they are keeping things light at the moment, just take a look at their recent Instagram stories.
Gerber just took to her Instagram with a simple photo of a message scrawled on a door. The two-line message simply read, “are you helping / are you hurting.”
It comes just a few hours after Elordi shared a screenshot from a video call with his parents, urging people to remember that he is a “human being”. The actor continued, “If you find it difficult to make your way through the day, I get it, life is heavy, I implore you when you feel like this to try a little kindness, pay it forward and I promise it will find it’s way back to you. I hope it helps you as I find it helps me.”
