Yup, the 23-year-old Euphoria actor and Netflix star dropped a chill $2 million dollars on a house on a Byron Bay hinterland acreage. So maybe there’s still time for your meet-cute at a cafe ala Zac Efron’s new Aussie girlfriend Vanessa Valladares? Elordi’s ongoing romance and New York dates with model Kaia Gerber notwithstanding of course.
As fans will know, Byron Bay is something of a hotspot for Hollywood heartthrobs. As well as Zac Efron’s recent offer on a house in the beachy area, it’s long been home to two of Australia’s favourite acting exports Liam and Chris Hemsworth.
Elordi is an Aussie boy—of ✨ Basque ✨ descent—from Brisbane, so we can see why he’d feel at home in Byron Bay (they’re only a two-hour drive apart). And speaking of his home, according to the listing and pics, it’s a stunner. Srsly, enjoy all the pictures obtained from First National.
The property is surrounded by the Byron rainforest and stunning ocean views with two Hamptons-style homes—so technically he bought two houses. We’re dealing with seven bedrooms here, four in the main house and three in a cottage. The 5.7-acre property is apparently very private and peaceful. The privacy and peace, in particular, seems v important for Elordi.
Last week the Kissing Booth actor shared a pretty personal message via his Instagram stories, urging people to remember that he’s a “human being” who deals with anxiety and to practise kindness.
In his post, the actor wrote, “If you find it difficult to make your way through the day, I get it, life is heavy, I implore you when you feel like this to try a little kindness, pay it forward and I promise it will find it’s way back to you. I hope it helps you as I find it helps me.”
