Yesterday, Girlfriend fave and singer-actress Demi Lovato turned 28. To celebrate, her future husband Max Ehrich shared a super cute message about the “light” of his “world.”
“Words fall short baby,” he wrote. “You light up this world and I am the luckiest man alive to call you my fiancé.”
“I keep falling more in love with you and your pure heart and soul every moment. [I] can’t wait to make endless memories with you and forever cherish you with all my heart. Happy 28th, my angel @ddlovato 💘🎂🥳”
In response, Lovato shared a just as cute and wholesome reply, “I love you SO much angel. Thank you for the best memories and here’s to many more !!! 💗💗💗”
Over on Lovato’s instagram, instead of celebrating her own birthday, the beloved singer used the opportunity and her platform to talk about Breonna Taylor, the 26-year-old African American emergency medical technician who was fatally shot by police in her own home on the 13th of March.
“Today is my 28th birthday… a birthday that Breonna Taylor will never have the opportunity to experience,” Lovato added in a post on Instagram. “I’ve launched a special Propeller campaign in Breonna’s honor that includes prewritten letters to the Louisville mayor and chief of police, petition links, and donation links.”
“No matter how big or small you think your impact may be, if we all stand together, we can help bring justice for Breonna Taylor.”

Demi Lovato and Max Ehrich first revealed they were dating back in March. Rumours that the two were engaged have been circulating since April, and the pair confirmed the good news in July.
