Demi Lovato is probably trying her hardest to just enjoy the post-engagement joy with her fiancé Max Ehrich, but, as with all things this year, it’s not going super smoothly. ICYMI, a bunch of controversial tweets surfaced that appear to show Ehrich crushing hard on Selena Gomez, who Lovato is infamously no longer friends with. Now, a new source has come forward with some worrying info. Apparently, Lovato’s friends are pretty worried about her and are hesitant about Ehrich’s intentions towards her.
To backtrack a little, the tweets in question, if they are real, are the kinda thing most of us would probably post on the internet as throwaway joke. “I’m going to marry @SelenaGomez,” one of the alleged posts (which was shared in back in 2018) read.
Now, while this is well before Lovato and Ehrich began dating, it is a lil awkward. Ehrich was apparently going hard on manifesting Gomez into his life too, posting, “Dear @SelenaGomez,” alongside a clip of him singing a love song.
Lovato dismissed the tweets as fake, but now a new E! source claimed she was “really upset” by them. “She is head over heels for Max and doesn’t want to be heartbroken,” they explained. “She truly cares about Max and wants to think his intentions are genuine.”
Since those tweets made the rounds on the internet, “people close to Demi have expressed that they are worried and are hesitant about Max.”
The source also explained the fresh couple—Ehrich and Lovato have only been dating for about three months—pretty much spend all their with each other because they’re super into each other.
Apparently, Lovato “insisted on being with Max in Atlanta the entire time” during the filming of his new project, Southern Gospel.
“Demi doesn’t want to be apart from him,” the source shared, adding, “They are inseparable and she doesn’t like to be without him.”
Okay, even to us this sounds like a lot! We hope that Ehrich’s intentions are legit and that their wedding goes off without a hitch, especially as Lovato’s already planning what she’s wearing.
